I run courses and coaching to support you and your book's journey to from the shelf to the classroom.

Is your children's book ready for fresh eyes?

I specialise in editing and proofreading books for children and particularly love picture books, first chapter books and middle-grade stories. I believe that you need a diverse team working on your book, so I will either edit or proofread your manuscript, but not both.

Picture book consultation

This is for you if:

  • Your book has been edited and designed with illustrations

  • You have specific questions or there are sections that you are still unsure about

  • You want a professional opinion through an inclusive lens before sending your book to your proofreader.

Cost: £97.00

One-to-one consultation

This is for you if you:

  • Prefer working one to one

  • Like to go at your own pace

  • Would like tailored help

  • Need accountability.

​

This can be a one-off brainstorming session, or a regular session – it's up to you.

​

Cost: £70 per hour
